Two married strangers meeting in a platform café at Milford station, just before the 17:40 train, marks the beginning of an intense and heartfelt affair. Dive into the worlds of Laura and Alec, with Celia Johnson and Trevor Howard bringing sensitivity and nuance to their roles, as David Lean realises Noël Coward’s play Still Life.
The screening will have an introduction by and a post-screening discussion led by visual artist and Stims Collective co-founder Sam Chown-Ahern. There will be a 5 minute break before the discussion.
