Dir. David Lynch. USA 1990, 1205min, Cert 18

Fleeing from a criminal past, lovers Sailor and Lula set out from their seedy North Carolina town to escape to utopian California. But the corrupt and dangerous underbelly of America is ever-present. Arguably Lynch’s most romantic film, Wild at Heart is an ode to intense, idiosyncratic love and fantastical dreams in the face of a violent, unforgiving world.

Unfortunately there will be no Descriptive Subtitles and Audio Description for this screening.

The film will be introduced by filmmaker and Stims co-director Georgia Kumari Bradburn. There will be a post-screening discussion in the BFI Reuben Library. There will be a 5 minute break before the discussion.

Tickets: £4
